So the first thoughts I remember having were all related to how to build a proper baby, something which none of the baby apps out there seem to address. Those apps mainly refer to the completely debunked and absolutely horrible MyPlate guidance from the U.S. government. Rather than get on my soap box here, suffice it to say that I believe one of the main reasons that we have such medical issues with ALL humans (including yet-to-be-borns, newborns and children) these days is due, in large part, to the U.S. Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee and their outdated, entirely unscientific and egregiously harmful guidance. There, I said it.

We are therefore taking the road less traveled – the cleanest possible diet for humans: An animal-based, ancestral template. It is the most nutrient-dense and most anti-inflammatory approach possible, since animal products have the most highly-absorbable proteins (the building blocks of humans) and good fats (the protectors of cells), and they cause the least amount of negative biological reactions (inflammation). Theory being: If we provide the best building blocks (animal proteins and fats) for our child, hopefully the odds of developing complications are reduced for both her and Mommy.
